There is absolutely nothing new about this. During the '70s and early '80s, in the last true years of the Texas oil boom, every redneck that made a couple million over night was buying a 911.

I'd say that maybe 20-30% of the Porsches sold in my hometown of Houston go to actual enthusiasts.

In the end, this is just more cash in the porker bank to keep expanding the GT breed.

Ummm, if my hot wife wanted a racing yellow aerokit 911 instead of an Suburban as a DD and I could afford it, I'm in.
