2013 Porsche 991 GT3/GT3 RS - What do you want to see?
We all know it's in the works and we are all scratching our heads wondering how in the devil is Porsche going to top the 997 GT3 swan song, the uncompromisingly outstanding 4.0 Limited Edition that sports 500 ponies of naturally aspirated goodness under it's rear bonnet.
A few relatively educated guesses we can throw out are what? 450hp - 550hp, higher revving development of the 9A1? A light weight optional PDK-S? So we now open the floor to you, the buying public of this next generation street legal racer, what do you think we will see and more importantly what do you want to see!
PS - Big thanks to member "carrera" for the fantastic rendering!

I'm sure they want to keep selling the most popular ever racing car! I'm sure they can do it!

No PDK? Intersting.
But I like how Porsche is thinking. With every other sportscar brand abandoning manual transimission Porsche can keep that market all for themselves without even putting up an effort. It's also in line with the lightweight philosophy which should remain one of the main focus points for all future GT3 generations.
I'm expecting the 991 GT3 to have 470 hp, 3.8l and significantly more torque than past generations.

would like to see a pdk.s option, for ultra fast gear changes... die hards grizzled when porshe went from air to water and we have seen some of the best drivers cars ever. if they can get it right to tie in with what the gt3 is all about it could fantastic , be interested to see how the new 458 challange car perfoms, to keep in the game they need to move forward, but as i said before there should always be a manuel option.

- straightline performance of turbo S
- pdk option (nobody running 6 speeds in Formula 1..)
- carbon fiber structure (similar to new Lambo's- weight savings)
- 5.0 liters 625 HP
- 200+ mph
- super lightweight version (no carpet, minimal trim, all carbon fiber body, etc.
- PTS option, especially brake calipers
- 1000 production slots allocated for U.S. (associated price reduction)
