maybe a sequential option for those that soley want it to race it but then whod take an rs over a cup
My thought was they can use the PDK-S gearbox, but have an optional sequential style shifter.

The engine won't be in front of the rear wheels. If they did that, they'd have to completlely redesign the chassis to put the gearbox in the rear. While I do think the engine will be moved forward, it will still be a rear engined car. What is your source that you confirmed that with.

Also the 911 defines perfection, and it just so happens perfection has an engine at the rear!
The engine will be moved foward. As already is in the new model. It will make the GT3 even more better ballanced and all the 991 variants as well.

Yeah, but you "confirmed" it will be a bit in front of the rear wheels. No it won't. As of right now only a small bit of the engine comes over the axle.

No one wants PDK in a GT3. Stop repeating yourself.

For God sake Porsche your the only company that is using stick shifts Ferrari and Lamborghini stopped manual, this is a sign to show people that porsche will always be manual for such car enthusiast GT3 / GT3 RS. Stop making it a luxury car ( Panamera look console?! + a 7th Gear WTF?! ) and start making it a race car !! beside the GT cars always seperate the boys from men use a STICK SHIFT NO TO PDK !!!

as always porsche always comes to the party last, and in approx two years time when they develope the new engine with the 991 gt3, rs, whats happening now will be forgotten as evolution moves forward, at present we have no gear box to compare ,only what were used to .last year at sebring the flying lizard no1 car was running paddles...??? and i'm sure once they get it right we will all be amazed how it will enhance the overall package, as long as they offer a manuel alternative .
