7.1 3RS or R8

was discussing this with a friend, which would you choose & why?

they are the same money, both good drivers cars (one being more so imo). the argument im hearing is that the 911 isn't special enough (not a bespoke model in the range), mid engine weight transfer is more desirable, rear biased awd on R8 has "perfect" balance , better interior, looks etc. some of these points you can readily argue, some though...

assumption is near dd (weather permitting)

I would take h20skier's white RS without question. From what Mark tells me it's the perfect DD and I love how it looks.

v8 R8 is not even on option. if you consider the v10 then its a tough decision. i still would take the RS though

Having driven neither, I would always choose the RS.

After driving both, RS without a doubt. Feels much safer going fast IMO.

I think the roads in Denmark are great and both cars will be fun and easy to drive around… unless your talking Copenhagen then I think the R8 would be a more comfortable on all the granite roads you have there

I voted RS just because if I was driving from Copenhagen to Skagen I would take a few country road and have the biggest smile on my face, except when going on/off the ferries (and I am not talking about Jox here)

R8 for everyday use
RS if you want a "race" car...
