Ben that looks stunning. Combined with the matte white, you guys have a winner on your hands!! Can't wait for some proper pictures. Was anything required other than the new decklid?

I miss the point of changing the rear spoiler of a 3RS...
Note also that this kind of modifications are highly disapproved by Porsche as they affect the aerodynamic balance of the car as well explained on the manual...

Well, Wyatt, there's also the aerodynamics to think about. Honestly, I don't think you'd want to mess around with having less aero downforce in the rear especially on the track where it counts but that's just my opinion. It wouldn't matter if you don't track the car I suppose.

^ Agreed, that's why I said ducktail for the street and throw on the park bench for weekend track days if you prefer.

Yeah you have less downforce but I don't see Carrera/S/GTS/Targas flying off the road when they hit 100. I can't imagine it effects the balance that drastically, especially on the street. Isn't the .2RS spoiler a bajillion times more effective than the .1 GT3? Those cars are controlled just fine as well. Wonder what the downforce difference is between a .1GT3 and a ducktail.

I agree with the downforce issue.

I was thinking more along the lines of adding this decklid to a 4s or GTS. Its effect would be minimal on these applications.

This particular customer will be swapping out the ducktail for the factory wing on track days.

MA Shaw Tuning offers a replacement ducktail for 993,6, and 7. FYI

I would love to do this some day.
