I can't believe you bought such a car without driving it first to see what it's like lol. The CGT to me is the most beautiful car in the world and an absolute dream and I would probably do whatever it takes to learn to drive one properly, given the opportunity. Enjoy it while you have it, because there are a ton of people out there that would kill to be in your shoes!

I like the review you gave on the car. If you don't enjoy driving it, why lie and hide the fact?

The only thing that bothers me is the comments about 'being poor'. Clearly you are not poor. Poor is splitting a car with 20 other people like in Arizona.

Have you attended any fahrschule?

Mirror should never be an issue.

Taipei traffic is no worse than LA during rush hours.

Probably close to 20K of my GT2 miles were done in stop and go LA traffic, and the non assisted clutch never bothered me.

Now, maybe the CGT clutch is 10 times more difficult to drive in traffic than the non assisted GT2 clutch, but I find that really hard to believe.

That's how I drive in LA rush hour, in any manual car I have, you hardly have to touch the throttle.

You don't need an autobox in a city, almost every TS'ers I know in LA drive manual cars, it is not a big deal.

BTW, in 2008, a CGT cost around 35 million NT in Taiwan thanks to tariff.

So for the price of one CGT in Taiwan, you can buy two CGT AND a GT3RS in the U.S.

Poor indeed.

CGT clutch is a different animal completely.....

997GT2 clutch is a beautiful piece to use and only slightly heavy but perfectly daily driver friendly - the CGT clutch is a horrible thing for traffic use, having to do the throttle-less engagement thing in start stop traffic means you would just rather leave it at home, and if you have stop lights at the top of a hill
