When will Porsche release details?

 

where would that position the LE compared to the speedster and GT2RS in your market? it's all relative after all...

 

In Italy prices are:
Speedster 208K Euros
GT2RS 241k Euros

I spoke to Porsche Italy (the only official importer in my country belonging to Stuttgart...) just last night and they told me that they not have info whatsoever.
No dates, no prices, no number of available cars to allocate... nothing at all...
Officially they do not even know this car exists at all!!
so... let's wait and see...

 

Supposedly it's coming to Detroit in January 2011.

 

in my market, if it is priced at par with the speedster, that would mean a little over 50% more than what I paid a month ago for my brand new GT3... in that case i'll just mod my GT3, and make it more unique than any GT3RS LE, and for a lot less

 

Question for those of you in the know. I have a deposit on the LE. 1st on the list from a dealer that will definitely get an allocation....but I also have a PTS RS.2 arriving around February as well.

Will the LE be announced before February so I can choose between the 2 cars? I'll be happy either way.

I am talking speculations here but as far as I have been told from Official Channels the LE SHOULD be presented May/June.

The car which will be exposed on January at Detroit SHOULD be the 918.

Again, pls consider these are only roumors even if coming from Official Channels...

 

I agree as far as the LE is concerned... May-June showing and production... last 997 to leave the factory... i will ask for the last one to leave the floor
