yeah but add leather, PCCB, and bunch of other goodies to bring it up to par with a TTS in terms of options, and you can tack on an extra $20-$25k...
#443
i'm saying $175k loaded with options...

that's the gazillion dollar question you're basically asking if this is the last of flat 6 rear-engined 911... one thing is for sure, it'll be the last 997 variation... unless a 700 bhp GT2RS LE follows!!! hahaha

Yeah I don't expect anyone outside of Porsche really knows whether this will be the last GT1 car. Obviously its not the end of the flat 6, but the new DFI engines do not comand the same respect as the GT1 Metzger's race proven durability.

the current engines are being tracked all over the globe, and earning their own spot
#449
All the ones you mentioned are being tracked, some professionally, some amateur racing, and others in official racing...

No to waste too much time on this but I am well aware the GT3 variants (GT1 block) are tracked around the world. The new (NON-GT1/Metzger), semi-dry sumped, DFI, flat 6 engine is not used in motorsport to my knowledge. Taking a road car 911 to track weekends is considerably less impressive than decades of 24 hour racing campaigns. I do not believe the new engine is in use in motorsport but I am happy to be proven wrong...
