GTR V-spec laps ring faster that carrera GT

Aside from driving one, I also chased one for a while at Monticello. For the first couple of laps, I was right on his butt in the corners, but he would quickly and I mean quickly accelerate away on the straights. Then I decided to hunt a little differently. I pressured him in the corners for 3 more laps and made him use up his tires a bit and then I backed off in the corner entry and simply left myself room to get a run on him coming out of corners. The RS took him as soon as we hit the short straight and then I was gone after the first set of corners. When we got back to the pits, I shook the GTR owners hand and thanked him for the fun. He just shrugged and said, if his tires held up, I would never have gotten by. I have a lot of respect for that car.
The GTR is a great value for performance play. It's a great technological achievement. There are just so many cars ahead of it on my wish list, that I don't ever see myself owning one.

According to a cousin's friend, who lives in Berlin,
the Fiat 500 Abarth beat the Porsche 901's and 1969 Nissan Skyline PGC10 North loop lap times!
Take that Porsche and Nissan, your out of production halo cars got beaten!
Soon to come, electric wheelchair vs Porsche Junior tractor!
