i guess for a starting price of $245,000, Porsche already makes enough money on it. btw, they were only building 300 cars but now is up to 500.

consider how much stuff they take out from the Turbo/GT2, the price tag on the RS is pretty crazy.

This post is not particularly clear... So did he buy a preowned CGT for 200k additional or was someone just asking an extra 200k? Hell of a difference. Interesting answers they gave you. I am surprised about the PtS, I am also surprised they aren't more flexible with some of the build items. A shame they are not more Ferrari-like but nonetheless, the teutonic approach.

there arent many options for this model, u can prety much gues what every1s geting, these cars wil al be identical almost other than exterior which again not much to choose from

Thank you for the answers in post #34, BB. I'm actually stunned by some the the answers. I hope they begin to change their tune soon, or they could possibly be helping out Ferrari & McLaren sales. Not that it'll diminish how awesome the 2RS is gonna be, but...wow, just wow.

I really don't understand the GT2 market. Why pay for a TT with better suspension? Any aftermarket tuner and increase the boost on the TT to equal the GT2/RS in power. Couple that with suspension upgrades and voila. Now the GT3 or GT3RS has a much better engine than the C2S to begin with, so that argument doesn't apply here.

I'd say spend that money on the Ferrari. It's a normally aspirated 9k RPM monster. You can't just add boost to that car.

NO! *facepalm*
The GT2 RS is NOT a boosted Turbo with better suspension!!!
there are so many 620 hp turbos out there but not one of these are anything near as fast as a GT2 RS!!!
GT2 RS is another league, probably faster than 599 GTO and way faster than 458 Italia. It's a master piece. You won't find many streetlegal rivals.
