The REAL Porsche 918 Spyder Nürburgring time.
Okay, this image was posted by member "psdrei" in reply to my specualted 918 Spyder 'ring time of 7:26. I said this because the Porsche's claimed Carrera GT 'ring time was 7:32, and it's actual 'ring time was 7:28, 4 seconds faster. When Porsche told us the 918 Spyder did it in 7:30, it was only a simulated time. So, member "psdrei" uncovered a document from Ferdinand Piëch, claiming that the 918 Spyder Concept ACTUALLY does the 'ring (non simulated) in 7:20!
That's 8 seconds faster than the production Carrera GT, and this is just a concept car!
I'm not 100% sure how reliable the source image is, so correct me if I'm wrong on anything. It's still pretty interesting.

It's absurd in the first place that Porsche would release a simulated time around the ting as the official time. Especially when there is such disparities in the two numbers.
They just need to put Walter in the 918 and see what his best time is and call it a day. I know the man is older than all of us but we all know he can still spank all if us at the same time. Or maybe even Hurley?

If the 918 has actually lapped the NR, we would have seen pictures of it.
I don't believe this car has seen any more track time than the time it took them to shoot their video footage.
Not a single mule has been seen anywhere.
