Spied: 2012 Mini Cooper Countryman JCW on the Nürburgring
The Countryman gets the beefed up JCW treatment
Things are heating up at the Nürburgring as MINI has started testing the 2012 John Cooper Works Countryman on the legendary track. Looking virtually production ready, the high-performance model is distinguished by an aggressive body kit, a ventilated hood, beefier brakes and huge wheels.
Like the recently unveiled JCW Coupe, the Countryman will feature a turbocharged 1.6-litre four-cylinder engine with a peak output of 207 hp and 280 Nm of torque. It will be connected to a six-speed manual transmission, which will likely enable the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in approximately 7 seconds. Stay tuned for more!
