Pros...looks better then the first gen imo...

 

I don't own one. Just drove a X3 35i (turbo) briefly. I could easily see myself owning one. It's a jack of all trades. You get the sporty feeling of a 3-Series sedan and space and capability of a 4x4 SAV all in a premium well priced package.

Pros over last gen: More upscale and luxurious, Better build quality and more rigid chassis, more room, better handling, more powerful, efficient engines, and smooth transmission (manual and 8-speed auto).

Bad: BMW is building a lot of them to keep up with demand. Most are being custom ordered.

Ugly: Headlights - they should have been more upright and shaped like the X5.

I've seen a bunch of them being taken to dealers from the plant in Greenville, SC, and I've liked what I've seen

 

cons: gayness is off the charts

 

It's not an X5. or an M3. or a 7. or 6. or 5. or x6 for that matter.
