Loaded it up a few weeks ago and have put in quite a few hours lately....

Wondering if anyone else on here use to play, or still has it laying around somewhere?!

Back when I was 11 and 12, I think.

 

Best online fps game. I used to play for hours at a time. Over the winter I got it to load up on my Mac and okayed it again. Still fun, just don't have the time.

 

after playing for the past 2 weeks, I must say, that it STILL is the best online FPS ever....

cod mw2 cannot even compare to the strategy and skill involved in CS.

 

I started playing CS with Beta 4 and played until version 1.1

Nowadays I play Quake 3 CPM TDM and CPM CTF. Did any of you guys ever played Q3 CPM ? I think it's one of the best gamemodes ever.

 

Way to many hours spent playing CS. Still miss it sometimes though.

 

I loved CS, it was my favorite online game until version 1.3. Then all the crappy new updates came out. I used to get banned daily from different servers because everyone claimed I was a cheater.

I have the game still, if you are ever playing just post up a server IP maybe i'll join you

 

I was nasty at CS... real nasty.

I played from 1.1 til 1.6.

1.3 was by far the greatest period on CS. I would 1 shot you with AK while bunny hopping. I was a beast.

Played in CAL for most of my 'career'.

Won CAL-O Atlantic by dq with invisioN. The team who beat us was caught cheating. We were moved to main, where we eventually died.

Won CAL-O Atlantic with element (e-). Went to main ATL.

Won CAL-im with fe-, went to CAL-P ATL for the first season of CAL-P ever... left team.

Went back to CAL-im with zeroHero (zH). We were the first team to ever go undefeated in CALim ATL. We lost our first playoff match LOL because a storm wiped 2 of our guys out.... Moved to CAL-M.

Avalanche - CAL-M ATL.

joined cLearcuT, CAL-M central. Moved to CAL-P central, then merged with evolution.la.

played on LAN for Fear Factor (f2)... they were invite.

Then I quit cs...

I easily could've went to CALinvite - but we always had problems as a team. Without a doubt, I think invisioN was my strongest team I was ever on. We were ridiculously good - it's a shame we died so young :x

as far as a server goes. I've been playing on this central server for the past 2 weeks.... So, it should work out decently well for everyone in the US, being that I'm on east coast and ping fairly well, hopefully you guys do as well.
