I was really lucky. I accidentally started a race w/ my level 4 b-spec driver in a Bugatti Veyron. I could not believe I came in first because he spun out at nearly every corner. And my veyrons got more than 1,200 hp so that was unbelievable.

?How are you guys getting all these cool colors to paint your cars? Don't you have to use ones you unlock and I don't have anything cool like what you guys are talking about.

That's exactly what they do. The only car I've painted so far is a Lotus Elise with the orange of the Murcie' SV. Probably the best color in the whole game in my opinion.
