Did you use the stock setup for the FGT? Any mods on it?
I have soft racing tiers on mine, can you do any other mods than that?

Softs, stock suspension with shocks increased to 9 on all, aero stock on all, maxed out on Cote De Azure because it is a technical track, gearing adjusted per track.

I lapped most cars in the FGT championship pretty easily. The only one I didn't was Monte Carlo where I messed up with 2 laps to go, went down to 4th then finished 2nd. VERY frustrating given each race is like 30 mins long.

Btw the best mod to the FGT is the 500,000 credit engine rebuild to get it up to max hp.

Do a backup first in case you don't gain much HP. I did but your FGT may be newer than mine...

Also Monza and some of the other courses have cheeky shortcuts if you find yourself behind and want to make up like an extra 10 secs per lap!

Biggest shortcut I found was at Nurburgring GP course for the FGT race. Second to last turn is a nasty chicane. If you cut across the grass leading up the hill, you can avoid braking and make up a ton of time. The other advantage with that corner is that several cars will crash at that corner on every lap so you need to time it so you don't get caught up in the crash.

oh boy I haven't sat down and done a stint that long in awhile

I'm going to practice a lot first before going for the FGT championship

on a side note, 500cr for an engine rebuilt on the McLaren is pretty sweet

Yup stealth models only cost 500 cr for rebuilds
