I do wonder how fast the agent was actually driving. They probably said 40mph just to cover the guys stupidity. He probably figured that since while he's got his hands on such a beast, he might as well have some fun with it. Then he probably lost control doing something silly. Sad to see it happen though.

Toyota claims to have sold around 35 million Toyota Corollas. The most sold car model in the world. But I know for a fact that the pope and a dude from Jersey owns one each, which makes it 35 million and two. Now off course, Toyota wants to keep the official numbers down due to the exclusiveness of the car, but some guy over at Toyota chat who knows a guy who once drove a Tercel says that it's definitely more like 35 000 005 cars.
