Right from Ferrarichat. And this is NOT including the Sultans cars....which they say is at least 10. So the "349" number is incorrect as I said.
F50

Production ended: 1996
Total production: 380.

My "research" began and ended with the official Ferrari numbers. I'm not entitled to rely on that?
That's the best evidence I know. I trust that more than some random post on F-Chat and the Sultan's secret stable.
As a lawyer, I tend to trust what I can verify. That's just who I am.
My Official Ferrari release catalog shows 349 F50s produced. That number is corroborated by Leonardo Acerbi (Ferrari: All The Cars) and Richard Dredge (Ferrari Supercars - Tales From The Man Who Lived It) - both Ferrari historians with massive amounts of published work on the topic.
Believe what you like. I'm not going to turn this into an argument. I am just telling you what Ferrari has published as factual.
You may very well be right that the numbers published by Ferrari are inaccurate. But based on your evidence, I wouldn't plunk down $1 mil for the 401st Enzo.
Cheers.

But I wouldn't stand in line to buy the 401st Enzo.

The official number, from Porsche, of total Carrera GTs is 1250. We all know that isn't true.
You seem to be captivated by the fact that 349 is the "official" number from Ferrari and if Ferrari said so, it must be true. But, it's in their interest to keep the official word at whatever they quoted all those people who were originally picked to buy the car, and just build more to meet demand.
You can quote "official" numbers until you're blue in the face, it isn't going to make it any more true or factual.

Dana, sometimes the official numbers don't have much credibility. It is widely known that Ferrari built more than 349 Enzos, and there is a SoCal Enzo owner who is personal friends with Luca Di Motezemolo who I've spoken to that has confirmed this.

While it might not ultimately be factual, it is verifiable from reliable, first-hand sources.
You can parrot rumors, speculation and heresay until you are blue in the face as well. Is that evidence?
But that's cool. We can just agree to disagree on this point.

I'll stop it now.

I am not saying that it is factual. I am saying that Ferrari - the "horse's mouth" so to speak (hardee har) - says 349 F50s were produced.
