Uh oh! I feel a Buyer's Guide coming on!!!
There was actually more then that, the Sultan had a bunch made too. It's said to be between 375-410. Remember, they said 399 Enzos, plus the "Pope" one. But it's a known fact there are like 410++.

Oh. Sorry. I didn't know about the secret F50s that were built.

Give me a break . . .

Possible ... but not probable!

If you had been the federal agent, would you have put it on a truck or escorted it yourself? You know, to make sure nothing bad happened.

well of course I would have driven it, but Im sure there is one or more guys responsible for making decisions on what happens with the property and i bet were not car guys. the guy who crashed it probably didn't even make the decision.

No I'm sure in reality more than one dude gave the go ahead on this.

I've got a friend who's from a pretty prominent Lexington family whose father is a big car buff and will hopefully know something more about this; just need to hear from him.

Edit: If Jas doesn't want particulars discussed I'll keep things to myself if I find anything out

Wow, sad news travels fast !!!

As someone here mentioned, I sold the car last summer. The current owner is in indicted in a federal case and is pending trial. I know the full story on the car, but it would be inappropriate to discuss on a public forum with a trial pending (not involving me !!!!)

Needless to say, this is an sad twist to an incredible story....law enforcement was likely just moving the car from storage to another location for trial and an accident happened.

I can tell you, being from a smaller town, my phone and texts have been going crazy today
