Volkswagen GTI Water Spot Removal & Correction

Volkswagen GTI Water Spot Removal & Correction
Every once in awhile you get a car that requires correction of severe defects(In this case deep marring & water spots) hard water etch is my favorite task to do......................... just kidding.
Evidence of this 07 VW in destroyed condition.

After two hour wash & decon.......
Moonroof with the crustiness.

Getting to work.

Moonroof coming back to life.

Marring/rids with water spot etch.

50/50.

Etched spots that fought well.............................and lost.

Glass as bad as you want.

Making slow progress.

Rear quarter after correction.

Soft as butter B pillars hammered.

Close up looks like a spider web.

Deep compounding.

Before.

After.

Water spotted crust.

Clear beautiful corrected paint.

UNtightness.

Tightness.

More B pillar shots.

The clean beautiful GTI hiding under the crust emerging.

The bulk of the water spot removal had been done on the finish and glass on the drivers side, the passenger side was real bad especially on the edges.

Etch removed...............finally.

Cleaness achieved.

Client bought the car for cheap pre-owned, great price for him including the pricey detail as now the car looks sweet!!!
