2006 Tungsten Ford GT Detail
Completed recently, this vehicle is very low milelage open MSO car which had never been titled before my client purchased it a few months back. Although not in a crusty state the finish had factory sand scratches, some RIDS and needed refinement and cleaning to ready the vehicle for local show(s).
As mentioned, the finish was not terrible but not defect free either. RIDS on the front areas.
Factory sand scratches.
Defects removed.
Small cluster of sand scratches.
Paint measured.
Defects corrected.
Another cluster.....
I had better performance with Menzerna FG-500 on this Ford GT, sand scratches removed.
Corrected a fine line of sand scratches in the cove of the door, finish smooth & clear.
Sand scratches in the corner of the door.
After.
Left over compound residue under the Clamshell vents, QD/distilled water and time required to remove the residue.
Neat mod the owner had installed was a Butterfly Wing door conversion which made getting in and out of this vehicle easier than past Ford GT's I have worked on.
I had cleaned the engine bay a couple of months ago, so only light wipedown needed.
Corrected light hard water etch in the cowl area.
Having the clamshell open makes cleaning a breeze on this vehicle.

Collinite 915 beading pic.
Small details attended too.
Wheels polished, Auto Finesse Mint Wheel waxed. Tires dressed to a satin sheen.
Interior pic.
Edge of glass cleaned(Overlooked by most).
A few sun pics...................client had to go.
It is worth mentioning the hard work Daniel from Car Connoisseur put in on this vehicle, as always..............................getting it done right everytime.

Did not go this year, as I was booked for two months straight getting everyone ready for Monterey week I had to start on vehicles for those who had waited for openings. First time I have not been there in 12 years.
