I wanted to fill the trailer hitch receiver on our Cayenne S w/ the rubber OEM plug, but for some reason Porsche has discontinued this item. So I bought the metal one instead, but didn't like the look of it, too shiny, and the enamel crest looked a little too "look at me" with its sparkly metalic inlay, too cheesy, not a good representation of the crest...

So I bought some high-temp flat black spray paint and put a few coats on it, really softened the look... had to secure it w/ a locking pin (not terribly elegant, but otherwise would fall out). It looks really grey in the below pic (was super bright out), but it actually is darker in person, and blends in nicely w/ the lower bumper and undercarriage... so will try and follow up w/ a better pic soon.



Bonus shot, out in the countryside this weekend for a hike w/ the pooch...
