Well this is unexpected. The upcoming Porsche Panamera super sedan will offer a trailer hitch as an accessory option - at least in Europe. We haven’t received confirmation from Porsche on whether the hitch will make the journey across the Atlantic to North America, however.

Thanks to our friends at vLane, who discovered the electric-folding hitch in an accessory catalog for the yet-to-be-released Panamera. We have to question just why Porsche would offer a hitch on its sedan when the Cayenne SUV makes a pretty reasonable tow vehicle. Then again, Porsche does offer a cargo-hauling roof rack for all models.
