Are they available anywhere? They seem to be really hard to find. I just want a pretty basic car for my dog. I hate auto transmissions.

The GTS just came out, I recall someone on 6speed posted a few that they got in a week ago or so. They are hot so may be tough to get a good price on.

Then you def don't want the GTS, it's about $80K +/- I've seen a few manual transmission Cayenne's around, you just have to hunt for it.

Only Cayenne available with manual trans. in N. America is '08 GTS, and most of the ones I've seen that are specced by dealers are auto, so good luck. If you really want something stick to haul the pooch around in, consider one of Audi's A4/S4 avant models.

Yeah I was under the impression that there were 6speed Cayenne's. Old one's and hard to find, but defintely somewhere out there. The GTS is obviously the other option.

But Steve, do it bro. People think it's stupid to have a 6speed in an SUV, but it's a lot of fun, especially with a sportier SUV. I have it in the X3 and it's great, plus girls love it since it's so unique.

i didn't know the X3 came in manual. What other modern lux SUVs come with a manual? I really can't stand automatic transmissions.

Amen. Other than the X3 and Cayenne GTS, the only other manual transmissions that I can think of in luxury suv's is the previous generation X5 or the Audi Allroad. But you'd have to go used for those.
