Question Shop Recommendations - Brakes need to be replaced

So i called the dealership and they want $1100 to replace the front pads and rotors on my Cayenne; which is pointlessly expensive.

Anyone have any shops that could do this for cheaper or any recommendations for shops in general?

dealer told me the same thing not long ago. apparently they always replace pad/rotor together since they are "under size" for the GTS and will always need both replaced at the same time. anyway, i was going to bite the bullet and have it done. i ended up taking to auto gallery for convenient reason. i was told later that only pads were needed for the front and was around 400.

there is also RSS motorsport in north hollywood that specializes in porsche.

If you have a Turbo S, this sounds pretty reasonable......

Are you technically inclined? It is actually a fairly easy DIY.

I bought my OEM pads & rotors online from Suncoast at about half cost, then had a buddy do the install. Barring that you might try Autotalent or Lucent Auto, both in the Sawtelle area.
