Need help--Panamera Turbo on order, dealership is being unresponsive
Long story short, my mother has a Panamera Turbo on order from our local dealer to replace our Cayenne Turbo S. It was one of the first orders to go out from our dealer for a turbo and was supposed to be delivered in March.
It is now April with no signs of the vehicle. The dealer is claiming that they do not know where it is--first it was being held at the port, then it was on the boat still, etc. I was under the impression that the dealership (especially one with the clout of Inskip) would be able to tell the location of an ordered car easily and quickly without any sort of hassle.
Can someone verify that the dealership can, in fact, ascertain the location of a vehicle and the dealership is dicking us around? Also, would one of the Porsche salesperson on the board be willing to look up the status of the car for us?
Part of the reason for this is my mother came across an article that was talking about how 200+ Panameras were being held at port and the owners affected would receive free luggage sets as compensation. The other, more important reason, is that we are now paying for an extra month on the Cayenne while we wait for the Panamera to come in.
TIA FOR ANY HELP!

Hmm... my dealer kept me up to speed on the cars "progress"; gave me the name of the boat so I could track it, etc... there was a point where I could track the boat on the ocean, to find its progress for myself. Even watched it in port on a webcam. The boat was named "The Hyundai"; oddly enough, the car still runs fine.
It sounds like your dealer is just lazy; light a fire under their ass

I get the feeling that they either forgot about your mom's order or simply sold the car over MSRP and are only realizing that they're one Panamera short now and are trying to stall. Either that or they're just lazy

Of course they know the location of the car ( if it exists ). And if they don't, it would be a pretty easy phone call for them to place to the shipping company to find out.
Give them assholes, demand they give you compensation, luggage, they pay the lease on the pepper etc.
