Chris,

I think your wife would like driving the GTS everyday . . . A C4S and GTS in the garage is pretty good!

Chris,

if you are not that rush, then wait for next year's brand new Cayenne models.

I'm waiting for that, or a Panamera V6, for my wife. She does not need to drive fast.

Yep, there's no rush. I just wanted to get a taste so I know where to direct my attention.

Can you speak about the Panamera in terms of comfort?

Seriously, the most comfortable car I've ever driven, but the miracle is that it didn't feel soft at all. Even my wife commented just how unbelievably nice the seats were. We have a Tempur-pedic bed - it felt like that, but in a car. If I had a 1000 mile drive ahead, I would pick the Panamera. I've never been in a RR Phantom, but I can imagine it'd be comparable.

Chris- aside the Panamera, I've driven the 996 and 997 TT coupes, both on 1200+mile jaunts and both are VERY comfortable.

For sedans both my former C Class and E class driven non stop from 12-24 hours and I would argue that Benz makes very very comfortable and supportive seats.

The Panamera seams to just hold you in the seat perfectly. No rolling around. No tight squeeze. No hard points. No too soft. Just right. I would however, spring for the extra 14-way power seats. The ability to adjust the inseam is awesome.

Great news. I think you are qualified to speak on this subject after your cross-country drive in sport seats.
