For me, i have the concept that you are actually renting the plane as you will sell it one day so the value you loose is what you paid for rent. [by the way... this isn't at all serious... its a poke at saudi in case you didn't see his famous post about leasing cars.]

When you think about all the time Qing and at immigration at the airport p planes can start to make sense. If you have a plane of high salaried execs time is money and it is more cost effective to send them privately. A g4 is about $120k too and from new York from London. Take 8 people first class that's 90k add the time saved it's not here nor there. They could do a day then cone back instead of 2.
If you buy planes like this charter is always an option. The. Problem with these top of the range business jets is there are very few pilots who are qualified to fly them.

Say what? All any 'experienced' pilot needs is a transition course... Probably 3-4 weeks of type-specific training.
