[QUOTE=h20skier;793492]One of my friends spends over $10 mil a year keeping his 80's Bombardier in the air. This plane would be triple at least. If you buy a $65 mil plane you better f'n use the shit out of it.

Just when we have seen H20's collection, house and wife and was looking for a bridge to jump off of for my apparent lack of skill in life choices I find out that he rolls with a crew that has a Bombardier. I'm taking my ball and going home.

It's always easier to roll than to own brother!

I have a friend with a stuuuupidly expensive boat, we go out all the time in summer. Every time he gasses the thing I ask him what the best thing about the boat is. Answer, it's not mine. Then I usually throw him a couple of Hundy's to ease the financial pain.

The only people that should be in these are the people with FU money as others have stated. Corp's have cut way back on private flight because the general shareholder is frowning on it these days.

That being said what a ride it must be. Black looks awesome as well.
Mark,

That cant be there is no AC in the private world that costs that kind of money to operate even with flight time he is BS'ing you.

I'd never done the math mainly because I didn't really care that much I just liked the free trips. For the record he himself never gave that figure I had heard it from someone else. For about 4 years he was gone 5-6 days a week somewhere. Golfing in Florida than California than Oregon. He played hard and took customers whereever they wanted to go. Possibly the money he spent while playing was included in that figure. Either way. It's not a game I can play. Private 4-10 times a year is no biggie but doing it spoils the wife and myself and we then wonder why oh why are we flying commercial

Got ya, yes flying private spoils you but if you do not fly a lot meaning for business and you can fly private for all the vacations and other stuff its worth the price. A lot of people no matter how much $ they have wont spend it as they see it as a waste, others see it as the ultimate luxury and would sacrifice other luxury items Yachts, 2nd homes etc.

The private jet world is an expensive ones makes everything else look appetizing!

If you own the aircraft, what do the staff do when the plane isn't in the air? Is the staff usually dedicated to the aircraft?

louisasqural is an unknown quantity at this point
Some corporation cut the private flights which have general shareholders. The only reason is its late arrives. At most peoples are in it because of its there are the people with FU money as other stated.
