I'm no expert, but from what I understand; If you use the plane in the range of 250 hours a year it could make sense to get an older G-III style plane. G-III's in my limited experience have been pretty reliable as far as downtime, and "other money pit problems". However, a new plane depreciated at 75% would make more sense cash flow wise. Would it not? It really depends on everyone's actual situation.
