Lambo shouldn't change their care every year...

Some more new information. Will be launched early 2010, most possible at Geneva auto show or even earlier. Still will be AWD only, slightly more than 600 hp, radical weight reduction, new design elements, reworked CC brakes. I would like to see also reworked interior for all MY11 Gallardo model range and some modern supercar features like what 458 has, but currently no word about it. Also I want to see how Lamborghini will expand the RWD theme, because I do not trust that it was made for one limited edition model only, but at this time no information.

Sounds like a bigger jump than the last SL. The last SL only had a 10hp bump, and you're saying this one may be 40+? That will be nice. Add that to a massive weight reduction, and it sounds like the 458 will have some serious competition.

That was information I recieved. Competition with a 458 Italia is main target of course, this is the reason for CC brakes upgrade early next year on all G model line and for early launch of SL version. It is well known fact that power of LP560-4 engine is underrated, several dynos showed more power than 560 hp. So I do not see any problem to get out slightly more than 600 hp from this engine.

I have found a thread on another forum where author claims that his UK Lambo dealer already started to collect deposits for new SL version of LP560-4 and for Murcielago successor. He claims that SL will be shown to dealers early next year and to the public during Geneva auto show in March. As for Murcielago successor he claims that late 2010 - early 2011 launch is the most possible scenairio.

Wonder if it true, but sounds really good.

Thats my post and its all true! I think they opened the books early because of the weak £ creating lots of far East calls to place deposits on new RHD cars.
