i'd like to help you out but i dont really know where to look.. i think your best bet would be a shop near you that works on lotus a lot.. or maybe your lotus dealer?

i know salesmen are usually idiots but mayyyyyyyybe the mechanics at the dealer could help you out a bit.

Nice idea but there isn't a lotus dealer near my city.

I have send a email to lotus but, I wait the answer

As you can see the bottom is flat and sealed off. Roof scoop is much better idea.

I talk about just the chassis, because the car is an Opel Speedster this car have the same chassis.

So the owner don't like the idea of roof scoop, it change the silhouette of the car .

I have propose this solution :

Create one hole on the flat bottom, with some aluminum profile reinforce the chassis, and create a nice air movement with some deflector (carbon/glass fiber)

dont worry about it, we for the most part understand what you're saying.

what exactly do you intend to accomplish from adding vents to the chassis?

the side scoop aren't really efficient.

The chassis



three solutions

1) roof scoop

2) make a hole to create a scoop

3) make a hole to create a venturi effect on the intercooler (air movement)
