Hello TS!,

I just got the car today,

This is a 2010 G55 AMG Edition 79, which basically is a 30th anniversary model celebrating the year 1979 when the G-class was introduced. They only made 79 from this spec/combination and I've got one.

Whats different ?

Designo Magno Alanite Grey exterior(matte silver/grey), Carbon fiber side strips along the doors, Titanium finish wheel colour, Carbon Fiber interior, AMG plaque in front of gear lever with 1 of 79, two tone interior, Chrome exterior accessories such as lower chrome strip, chrome bumper and rear tail light guards.

All in all, I got my favourite car and the overall feel,fit and finish is just exquisite.

This easily is my favourite car at home, lots of presence in person. In fact I was noticing that many people are looking at it, might be the sound or the matte paint but it does get lots of stares from people.

It means its one from 79 and not that its the first one produced.

 

Awesome car, love the carbon fibre and paint work. Very rare cars.
