installed it last night on MBA, but did not have a chance to use the airplay mirroring as that is what I am most excited about!

im using it right now. works great so far and i really like the share feature in safari. just like the iPhone

SoCal is an unknown quantity at this point
All I really wanted from the new OSX was a Safari upgrade. I got that in my updates last night, so I think I'll just stick with my current version for the time being.

Each time? You can install it on multiple Macs using only one ID.

The Kiwi called someone else cheap for buying it once and installing it on more than one computer. iTunes allows you to authorize your iTunes account on up to 5 computers.
