Macs for kids
Do any of you guys have Macs for your kids?
Does Apple haVe software that can block unwanted sites to appear?
Does it work?
I believe I am getting 3 Macs tomorrow I just want to make sure they are safe.

The parental controls are fairly good, we've had some parents that want to take a more personal approach and discuss their children's computer usage with them directly. I'm not a parent, so I'm a bit opposed to "spying" software (though I guess it isn't spying if the kids know it is there), but some of our clients have used this software and did like it: SpectorSoft - eBLASTER for MAC OS

The parental controls in OS X are pretty effective, though don't underestimate the creativity of even young children for getting around various safeguards. Most parents I know just keep an eye on what their kids are up to online in various ways.
One popular method is to use Remote Desktop to keep an eye on what's going on without physically being there.

I will look into the different suggestions
I'm not entirely worried the kids will try to get around it.
What I want to try to stop is the YouTubes that they shouldn't view. Typically not by there choice.
We did go through an issue few years ago with the oldest and I believe the 2 hour conversation with his mom with the Highlighted portion her telling him she wants to watch the porno on the computer with him that he's comfortable watching alone I think skirted him away from it for a while.
It's not quit as fun with mom watching over the shoulder
