I need to copy my iTunes off iPhone onto Mac Air that has no music on it

Blarg-- I was stuck in iPod land for some reason. The process is different on the phone as the file system is locked down.

Try this.

No, I'm not sure.
All this does is back up the files on the phone so in the event of a broken update, you don't lose them. So, feel free to transfer them when prompted.

I should also point out that all files you have purchased via iTunes can be re-downloaded whenever you want. Open iTunes, click Purchased, click Download Previous Purchases.
