iTunes problem

i have been trying to access my available downloads in iTunes for weeks now, but i keep getting the same error message: "Unavailable to check for available downloads. The network connection has timed out."

I've got the most recent version of iTunes. I've reinstalled. And I've tried google. None have worked. i come before you humbled, asking for help.

i've had the same problem on several different networks and I've tried that on two of them.
