Simba when you see my screen shots is it correct that there is a "Library" folder and then another "Library" folder within the system folder?

Sorry to be asking such rookie questions..

I trashed the mail folder in the library and started over again..the aol account mail is finally working correctly..I will try the pop account next..

thanks for the help as usual.

Yes. The library folder in your home directory has all of your app preferences for a given user, as well as some other stuff.

The system library folder has all kinds of things that will break your OS to untold degrees if you mess with 'em.

Trashed the right one then..lol...still no good on the pop account but I think that has to be a problem on the other end..maybe a port setting or something..

I decided to just forward the mail from the pop account to my .me account..that works for now..
