PDK - Am I the only one who thinks it sucks?

BTW, nobody here believes you that you wouldn't opt for a 599 GTO over a Porsche GT3 if money were not an factor. Stop lying.

If money was no object then I would go straight for a CGT. Good point though.

UBC; man up and go buy a fvcking 458 for Christs Sakes....

Last I checked a 458 can be DD with ZERO issues and they have low maintenance costs now as well, correct?

^As far as not an h-gate yep.
My take on PDK is that it shouldnt be used on the car unless it is so stupid fast that the actual rowing of the gears would take away from the experience. Thats the case with my turbo S...I wouldnt want this thing any other way, on full boost, when I pull the lever at 6.7XX rpm, the thing shifts on point, seamlessly engages the next gear and just rockets you the hell out of the earth. I dont WANT to do anything in btw! But in a normal carrera, the operator can do within .2 seconds of what pdk does for 0-60 for the most part...so could understand why someone would still want a manual as far as the experience. I for one however, and especially given my specific car...wouldnt go any other way than the pdk.
Will say though...the ferrari 458 (for duel clutch) and 599gto(for single clutch sequential) probably have the best feel in the business...but we are looking at around two times the price on the former and 3.5 times the price for the latter...so ya...

If money were no object this conversation would be moot b/c you'd be such a fvcking baller that you'd have probably one of each.

CGT
16M
McLaren
599 GTO
F12
Notice that only one of them is a manual.
But back on topic, Porsche's PBJ (sorry PDK, it's so mushy that I get the two confused) sucks.

I'm partially serious; why NOT a 458 UBC? Minus a lot of storage space, the 458 seems to almost do it all, no? fvckng love that car.
also- I was one of the rare people who liked the SMG also. A little quirky but it forced you to pay attention. I liked that aspect. wasn't boring.
