ok Ill ask the dumb question. What is the black piece in front of the left rear wheel arch? Its in a few photos and not in others. I assume there is also one on the right? Is it simlar to the clear pieces that protect the paint but in black?

Great looking car by the way

They're black stone guards like the 997 Speedster has. Usually people put them on white cars because the clear ones start to yellow, or get dirt caught around the edges. I assume the pictures without them are pictures from a while ago, and the ones with them are after he installed them.

Yeah, I had them put on a week after getting the car. I really like the way they turned out.
