I doubt porsche will drop the manual. The 911 is a drivers car and porsche recognizes that.

I know I'd be pissed if they did away with the m/t for the Turbo; but having some decent seat time with the newest version of the PDK, a car equipped with Sport Chrono would still provide lots of grins.. much more involvement with the car over the 997w/ PDK.
