On a serious note, it would be a HUGE disappointment if the 991 Turbo was left with only two pedals...

 

I doubt Porsche would do it at this stage already,...but imo it`s def something to expect in the near future

It wouldn't surprise me to see a PDK-only Turbo line-up. As fast as these cars are getting, trying to launch them with a manual properly is becoming futile. Automated Manuals are becoming necessary to get anything out of the 1st couple of gears in high-acceleration use.

As much as I enjoy rowing my own gears, I'm the first to admit that getting through 1st and 2nd can be a challenge. I can only imagine how quickly the engine will run past 1st gear in a 997TT, much less (what is expected to be) a much faster 991 Turbo.

 

I don't say much, but no MT for the next Turbo is extremely disappointing if it is true.

 

If the 991tt only comes in PDK, then I will be getting the last 997tt in 6MT instead for my 35th. Works for me.

 

I have 3 dealers in Nor Cal that have my number on speed dial once the turbo is available to order.
