Hello Everyone,
I apologize for the delay, I was away from my computer most of the day and it wouldn't let me respond via iPhone for some reason.
Alex, I received the email from Lon and we will actually have to touch base on Tuesday if that is ok with you as Monday is a holiday here in the states. All of my direct contact info is listed below. If you want to forward me the email you sent to info@ I will see it first thing and we will touch base.
On a separate note I did want to clear up that ALL of our Monoblok wheels are all powder coated here at our facility in Vista, CA. The only time we use paint is on a color matched three piece wheel. Ultimately our goal is for long term reliability and this is why we prefer powder coated finishes.
Chris, when you are ready give me a ring. I'll be happy to assist you as well.
If anyone has any questions please feel free to call or me. As most of our know we pride ourselves on engineering and manufacturing the best product and providing the best customer service. We are fair and take each scenario into consideration.

UPDATE: my local HRE reseller is going to get them re-powder coated for me - all 4 wheels under warranty apparently - which is great. I can switch coloured finishes if I like (only powdered ones though). A shame as I really like the new black with brushed face - a nice change that would have made this hassle all worth-while.
The really tricky part now is working out how I can remove the tyres (and TPMS sensors), and ship the wheels to them. Then what to do with a car with no wheels for a couple of weeks (and how to get home from where ever I take the wheels off). So this is going to take some planning. Shame I sold my OEM wheels a couple of years back.

Yeh the Mrs could certainly do that, but it's more about leaving the Porsche somewhere on bricks for X weeks.
