Unhappy HREs peeling!

Got a problem with my 3 year old HRE P40’s.... I spotted yesterday that they are seriously peeling on the inside edge.

(between 4 and 5 o’clock in this photo)

(the fronts are starting to bobble too)

As such, does anyone know what warranty comes with these wheels?

I have ceramic brakes (no brake dust) and the wheels have been kept very clean for the last 3 years (and dry in a garage for most of it) so this kind of corrosion shouldn’t be happening!

Many thanks,

Alex

Well ... I wouldn't call it corrosion .. but I would call HRE
Good luck on finding resolution

That is deff not corrosion, just seems to be the paint peeling off (which must be frustrating considering what these wheels cost). Nothing is perfect however. Let us know what happens once you contact them.

PorscheGT3RS is an unknown quantity at this point
I had a similar problem with my HRE 940R wheels. Wheels were 3 years old and the two fronts had leaks in the 3-piece seal. One of the fronts also had chrome starting to peel off the lip. Sent them back to HRE and they fixed them. Very impressed with their willingness to fix the issue, and it only took a couple weeks.
