If you've bought a car you don't feel comfortable driving, you've bought the wrong car.

Methinks your skin may be a little too thin and brittle for this forum.

Bullsyte!!!

DRIVE FASTER!!!!!!

ASG- you are VERY WELCOME here. We just like being a bunch of clowns!

and jox...well..............he's our token handicapped friend.

Ps. you BETTER sign up for Porsche driving events-

Short story:

First time Porsche buyer and retired Deloitte guy bought a 997 C2S cabriolet. Very conservative, took the very careful approach when driving his car.

Next summer, he took his car to a DE event.

Result? he now has not one; but TWO 944 race cars and is a Porsche JUNKIE!!!!! It's a riot when talking to him, you'd think you're talking to a big kid! Even funnier knowing how quiet and conservative he was.

Moral- I hope this car brings out the kid in you and you go bat shit crazy on the track!!

There is nothing you can do. It ruins your car in every way.

If you drive your car in the rain, just make sure you change your turning signal fluid every 5000 miles.

That's my feeling. Then again, I'm an asshole by nature. It's part of my charm.

I've tracked my car when it was raining / slushing. (remember this, Ag?) Yes I'd be out there if it was a cab as well. But I'll be honest--if the car is freshly washed and it's raining out, I take my sh*tbox truck, but mostly because I'm too cheap and lazy to get it detailed again.

Now go drive the piss out of it, that's what it's there for!
