You didnt make it? Does that mean the EVO guys didnt too? I actually didnt make it down either. It actually turned out to be pretty nice weather apparently, but the report had high chances of rain and last time i got stranded in OC b/c they closed the Grapevine due to snow, not cool. When they finally reopened it, visability was at best, half a block. You can imagine how that was...zero visability with zero rear tread in a torrential down pour was not fun to say the least. Look forward to seeing you soon! Will you be joining Fred's gang for the run down south in March? How'd the tuning with GIAC go? All set to keep with that GT800 now! Which btw, i still need a ride in!

this is the only literature i found:

Our direct replacement diverter valves will eliminate the notorious Honking sound commonly heard when the OEM valves have failed. Our valves will restore lost power and will hold more boost pressure than the stock units for added performance. In addition, they recover quicker than the OEM valves which allows better spool up after shifts. We designed our valves with a 90 degree vacuum port which allows for additional vacuum line clearance and a trouble free installation. The EVO billet diverter valve for the 996TT / X50 / GT2 comes as a complete kit and carries our exclusive lifetime warranty.

Can you be more specific about what you dont understand? Better diverter valves will help you "hold more boost pressure" (when you flash your car you increase psi about .4-.5 bar), and will "recover quicker than the OEM valves which allow better spool up after shift." Let me know how i can help.

Yes, the first stage chip is the biggest bang for your buck and the one you will notice most.
