$475 GIAC OBD2 Flash
-Serial flash through OBD2 port at any of the 100+ GIAC dealers inc Supreme Power or VF or overnight your ECU to us.
-Increased throttle reaction (Egas enhancement)
-Smoother power transitions based on recalibrated intake and exhaust VANOS
-Dyno limiter removed.
-Speed governor removed.
-Race gas calibration provision - add race gas for more power.

-Multilayer filter media
-Velocity stacked air filter
-Billet aluminum MAF housing
-Uses stock MAF screen to elminate spurious CELs
-Cold air feed duct (unlike some CAIs which give hyrdo-lock exposure)

2006 E46 M3 with 15,000 miles and Dinan rear muffler, 91 octane.
Blue run shows baseline with stock air box.
Red run shows power with GIAC chip and VF intake after 2000 miles of driving.
Peak power gain of 15whp and 11wtq after 2000 miles adaptations.
NOTE: VF-Engineering is advertising a dyno plot with conservative gains and typically higher results have been seen.

Mike, the intake we have for the Z3 M S54 is $10,000 and comes with a free supercharger!!! Instead of getting around 10 HP increase, it gains approximately 160 HP. You can check it out on our web site:

I don't believe GIAC has release software for the R56 yet, you might want to throw an inquire in to their contact form.

Unfortunately, I believe you are right. So far I've heard of only one place being able to tune the r56, and of all places in the US it was in Hawaii.... At least someone is making progress, I guess.
