Need Advice: Ferrari F430 Spider or Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster?
#41
Having owned a brand new 05 Murcielago, I can tell you that the car is heavy, wide, low, and difficult to park. Recently I rode in my friends 08 F430 Spider, and although nice, it didn't quite feel so exotic.
I will say that every time I drove my Murcie, it felt like I was treating myself to something special. The car, regardless of its shortcomings, is just awesome.
Get the Murcie. You won't regret it.

Whatever feels comfortable and suitable to you should be your decision and yours respectively. I know were all here to give service, but this is your thing, bud!
Sit in one, drive one, hell.. it's your environment you'll be in for hours, do what's right.
Let us know your decision and all will be well! Just be prepared to get a little flack for posts like this. :P Good luck, mate!

Looks like a 360 Spyder with a Tubi exhaust.

Thanks again everyone! You're right. In the end, I will make the final decision. I just wanted to get opinions from people who have owned or driven both to get a better perspective. No one has touched on maintenance or service yet. Any thoughts?
I'm new to this forum so I apologize if posting in both areas is not allowed or frowned upon. I just wanted to get an equal opinion, not a biased one from either a Ferrari enthusiast or a Lamborghini one. Plus I did not find an option to post it where both groups could view it. You all have given a lot of great information. I've really enjoyed reading all of your posts!

Figure 3k a year on the Ferrari and you will have money left. I don't know anything about Lambo's. How close are the dealers? Call a dealer and ask them what to expect.
Is there a Lambo Forum somewhere to find out about issues with 06 ish Murci's?
Fchat has a strong Lambo forum. Try there for more information as well.

He hates Lambos though - in case you couldn't tell.

I think it's great you're choosing between the two. Fantastic competition in your head.. and I know how that is (not for a Ferrari/Lambo).. but for other autos. Really your Ferrari will be more "economical" in the long run, they're quite a treat overall! Head over to h20skier, he is the king man to ask for this kind of stuff.
