Short but epic clip is guaranteed to make you want to run through walls.

In this day and age, getting folks riled up for a coming event is pretty easy. Just piece together some exciting footage containing a few tantalizing teasers and dramatic music. Boom – instant hype video. But even though we know what’s coming with clips like this recent piece from McLaren, we still can’t help but succumb to their influential ways. And when we watch a McLaren MP4-12C GT3 prepping for the legendary Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, it makes us want to run through a brick wall.

Alright, so maybe that’s a bit of an exaggeration. But just watch this amazing, albeit short clip and tell us you’re not the least bit excited. Just the sight of the sinister looking, matte-colored McLaren MP4-12C GT3 racer gets our blood pumping, personally. Watching it go through the mechanical paces of preparing for one of the world’s most famous events? Even more so.

Like some sort of priceless space machine, the McLaren crew preps their steed for combat in a decidedly dramatic fashion. Simple things like mounting tires looks like a highly complicated job requiring an incredible amount of precision. Probably because it is and does. And the whole thing comes together thanks to a stellar team made up of highly experienced and passionate folks.

Altogether, 59 seconds is all it takes to get us pining for some hill climbing action. Or any sort of action that involves McLaren’s latest track destroyer, really. But when you’re talking about the brand’s very first racer since the F1 GTR, that’s truly saying something. And you don’t even need words to accomplish that when you’ve got a truly epic hype video, either!
