Forza Horizon 4 Takes the Supercar Party to the U.K.

Nothing sounds sweeter than traipsing around the home of Top Gear in a McLaren.

In case you missed the recent news out of E3, Microsoft has officially announced the newest entry into the Forza Horizon series, and it looks more amazing than ever. It takes place in Britain, it features full season changes for the entire map, and, of course, it has a massive collection of supercars to play with. The star car for the game is the new McLaren Senna, but in the reveal trailer we got a glimpse of a lot more.

Just from our quick glancing we saw the Lamborghini Centenario, Aston Martin Vulcan, Bugatti Chiron, Koenigsegg Regera, and the Pagani Huayra. There are a pile of other cars featured in the game as well, but those are the ones that piqued our interest. In total Microsoft has claimed that Forza Horizon 4 is going to have more than 450 cars from more than “100 licensed automotive manufacturers.”

We can’t even name that many manufacturers. Good news for those of you who want lots of cars but get tired of seeing 19 variations of the same GT-R.

If you are new to the Forza Horizon games, the premise is pretty simple. There is a massive car and music festival happening at some point on earth, and you are there to take part in all the fin and shenanigans. Basically think of it like a digital version of Gumball 3000 or GridLife. You get a huge map to play around in, and several challenges and races to c complete. From off-road races, to drift competitions, and straight up circuit racing, there are tons of ways to enjoy yourself.

The game is launching on October 2, 2018, but if you pay extra for the “Ultimate Edition” you can play it a few days early on September 28th. It will be available on Xbox One consoles and Windows 10 PCs via Xbox Play Anywhere.
